After meeting with Jane and Angie regarding creation of standards, Jan and Regina offered a slight modification of Bloom's taxonomy to include some phrases from the Critical Thinking Institute and two additional categories, ("Point of View" and "Implications & Consequences") as a set of standards (not outcomes) that departments could use. Regina shared the standards with Department Chairs who accepted them. They are on the server and are to be included int he Course Expectations and Curriculum Guide. They are part of our evidence for the AdvancEd report and replace the use of teacher Critical Thinking templates.
We had a slightly shorter schedule than we had last year; Jan revised the scenario that students would use to demonstrate their understanding of fallacies. Most faculty facilitators returned their folders with the original materials and feed back forms. It was apparent that there was a review of the fallacies based on notes made by students from several of the folders. Please see the pdf, "Faulty Logic Facutly Survey Results" for responses.

I have used the standards in my curriculum mapping and course expectations and I feel that they work well with the work I am doing in my classes.
I have not seen the play nor interacted with the students that have participated so I cannot really comment on this one

I dont think I can distinguish between facts and information, between research and data. I suppose evidence is stringing them together into a logical argument? The distillation you have made of Standard Three seems workable to me. Are you saying a similar distillation must be made for the other critical thinking standards?
Last year I gave the introduction to the play, do Susan and Jenny wish me to reprise that role?
